John Maguire, a native of Clones, Co. Monaghan, highlights yet another artistic talent from this region of Ireland, with his current album, Emerging.

The album represents a fresh, vibrant, and unexpected mix of Folk, Jazz and Roots, that is sure to amuse, impress and arouse a questioning eyebrow!

From the toe-tapping, foot-slapping energy of Cult Hippie, and Joey, to the poignant and haunting tones of Honoured, and the downright cheeky Organic Baby, the album reflects the versatile style of a storyteller at work. A guest appearance by Martin Tourish brings another distinctive sound to enhance John’s lyrical style.
